The concept of bipartisanship is gradually diminishing, and this decline holds immense significance. As we approach the 2024 election, it becomes increasingly crucial to emphasize the values of transparency and engagement. These principles serve as the bedrock of a thriving democracy, fostering trust and ensuring the active participation of citizens in the decision-making process.
Moreover, engagement plays a pivotal role in ensuring that the voices of all citizens are heard. It encourages active participation in the political process, enabling individuals to express their concerns, aspirations, and values. By engaging with one another, citizens can bridge the gaps that divide us, fostering a sense of unity and shared purpose.
Our full-time faculty are seasoned researchers studying the latest tools, techniques, and strategies that are making an impact in the fields of politics, communications, and advocacy. They've also spent time in politics as Congressional staffers, White House appointees, lobbyists, and campaign professionals. They are frequently contacted by leading media organizations for their thoughts on communication, economic, foreign policy and political matters.

As the 2024 election approaches, presidential polling is more crucial than ever. Throughout history, U.S. Presidents have formed unique and confidential relationships with their pollsters, relying on public opinion to guide critical decisions in the White House. Their work is essential to the future of American democracy.
The Mark Penn Presidential Pollsters Event is dedicated to analyzing and archiving how these insights have shaped presidential strategies. In a time of unprecedented challenges and divisiveness, pollsters' insights are vital for policymakers, journalists, and scholars seeking to understand and respond to the public's concerns.
The GW Politics Poll is a nationally recognized series of surveys conducted by YouGov and managed by GSPM, the GW School of Media and Public Affairs, and the Department of Political Science at the GW Columbian College of Arts & Sciences.
