Global Public Relations

The Global Public Relations certificate teaches students the strategic and tactical skills needed to craft PR and advocacy campaigns in different regions of the world.

The certificate is designed for working professionals and all classes are held Monday-Thursday evenings at our Arlington campus. Students must also complete one Global Perspective Residency short-term study abroad course. 


Requirements

The certificate requires completion of six courses (18 credit hours). It can be completed in as little as three terms, or at your own pace. All coursework can be applied towards a master’s degree in Strategic Public Relations.

Choose one course from the Strategic PR course listing to complete this graduate certificate. With the program director's approval, you may take an elective from the Strategic Public Relations, Legislative Affairs, or Political Management programs. Some students may elect to take a course at another GW school or college with approval from the program director.
