T.R. Straub

T.R. Straub leads RRA’s corporate affairs practice; he advises clients in the government relations, public affairs, regulatory affairs and corporate communications sectors. Based in Washington D.C., T.R. has recently led searches for Chief Government Relations Officers, Chief Corporate Affairs Officers and Chief Communications Officers for corporations, trade associations, nonprofits and higher education institutions. He works across all industries, with particular depth of expertise in regulated sectors (e.g., financial services, healthcare, technology).

T.R. brings more than a decade of executive search experience to his role. He spent seven years with another executive search firm, most recently as a senior vice president, leading corporate communications and government relations assignments. Earlier in his career, T.R. worked with Teach for America, first as a Corps Member in the Baltimore City Public Schools and then as a Recruitment Director.

T.R. holds a B.A. in leadership studies from the University of Richmond, and an M.A. in teaching and social studies from Johns Hopkins University.
