Regional Advocacy Coordinator and Communications and Policy Associate, Alliance for American Manufacturing
Jennifer Snyder is a public policy and government affairs professional with nearly two decades of experience in legislative affairs, advocacy, coalition building, and strategic communications. She serves as Regional Advocacy Coordinator and Communications and Policy Associate for the Alliance for American Manufacturing, where she works to strengthen U.S. manufacturing, workforce development, and economic competitiveness.
Before joining the Alliance for American Manufacturing, Jennifer spent several years with the United Steelworkers, advancing federal and state legislative priorities through grassroots advocacy and public policy initiatives. She began her career as an Emergency Medical Technician, an experience that continues to shape her commitment to public service.
Jennifer serves on the Board of Directors for the American Red Cross Long Beach and South Bay Chapter and on the Workforce Committee for the Association of Manufacturers Bay Area.
She earned her Master of Professional Studies in Political Management from The George Washington University's Graduate School of Political Management, where she served as Chief Virtual Programming Officer for the GSPM Student Association. At her May 2026 graduation, she received the Dean Arterton Award in recognition of her leadership, academic excellence, and capstone research exploring responsible artificial intelligence policy that protects workers while fostering innovation. Jennifer is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Health Policy and Law at UC Law San Francisco and holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Penn State.
A passionate advocate for public service and lifelong learning, Jennifer lives in Southern California with her husband, Steve, their daughter, Isabella, and their two dogs. Outside of work, she enjoys volunteering, traveling, and is a proud self-proclaimed "forever student."
