WASHINGTON – The George Washington University’s Graduate School of Political Management (GSPM) announced the winners of its “Maximizing Social Media” contest Thursday. Participants were tasked with creating an overarching social media campaign across three major platforms: Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Prizes were awarded for Best Campaign, Best Creative, Best Messaging, and Best Presentation.

“This contest was a great chance for us to hear what our students value from our programs. We were delighted to learn that our students are not only proud of our school, but also are particularly enthusiastic about the opportunities that GSPM provides to help students get ‘in the room where it happens' and know how to make a difference once you're inside,” said GSPM Interim Director Lara Brown.

The winners of each category are as follows:

Best Campaign: Angela Fleming, Lauren Pollack, Paulina Montanez-Montes, and Will Fadely
Best Creative: Brenna Saucier and Esteban Fernandez
Best Messaging: Brenna Saucier and Esteban Fernandez
Best Presentation: Brooke Cranford, Christina Baworowsky, and Dakota Helphenstine

GSPM congratulates each of the winning teams and is exited to integrate their ideas into its social media strategy and messaging.
