On August 11, 2026, a networking reception in Buenos Aires connected visiting George Washington University students with Argentine alumni and partners. The gathering marked a major milestone: the launch of GSPM’s Global Ambassador Program. Designed to honor exceptional alumni, affiliates, and community members who enhance the school's international reputation, the program held its first host-country recognition ceremony in conjunction with  GSPM’s Global Residencies Program.

Honorees received official recognition letters signed by GSPM Executive Director Debbie Mucarsel-Powell, alongside formal Certificates of Recognition and custom LinkedIn Digital Badges of Honor. The title recognizes those advancing GSPM’s mission through partnership development, student mentorship, and professional achievements.

The evening celebrated key figures who represented and supported GSPM for years and whose long-standing dedication powered the Argentine Residency:

  • Political Trailblazers: Alumni Tomás Vidal, Derek Hampton, Yehonatan Abelson, and Nicolas Caputo leveraged their GSPM degrees to build distinguished careers in political consulting and campaigning. As part of the program in Buenos Aires, Vidal, Partner at Move Group, introduced students to the National Digital Communications team behind Javier Milei’s presidential victory. Hampton, Partner at Arroyo, managed Patricia Bullrich’s 2023 presidential campaign and arranged a meeting for students with Bullrich in her current role as a powerful senator.
  • Institutional Partners: Federico Morales, Co-founder of Cultura Interactiva, shared his thrilling electoral campaign experiences across South America. Leaders of MSA Group—President Sergio Angelini and Juan Pablo Prezzoli, Manager of Institutional and Legal Relations—provided key insights into digital elections and technology security.
  • Academic & Strategic Allies: University of Navarra partners and alumni Belen Amadeo, Alejandra Cedrola, and Teofilo Beato offered invaluable perspectives on legislative affairs, political communications, and the cultural dynamic of Buenos Aires as a capital city and major powerholder.

While the Buenos Aires ceremony celebrated Argentine partners, future Global Ambassador recognitions will follow worldwide, with upcoming events planned for Mexico in December 2026 and Brazil in August 2027. The evening concluded with a toast to the honorees and a timeless wish for the global community: ¡Salud, dinero y amor!—health, wealth, and love.
