Suzanne Zurn is a strategic communications consultant and a former political operative known as “one of the most knowledgeable and respected professionals in Washington when it comes to designing and implementing digital public affairs campaigns.” Suzanne is the founder of Three Lines Group.
Suzanne has extensive experience gained from senior positions spanning the advocacy, agency and political communities. She cut her teeth early in the business of digital campaigning online and built or led the digital practice at a few Washington, DC area firms, including most recently at DCI Group.
Suzanne speaks, teaches, and writes on a range of topics including digital advocacy, public affairs, reputation management, and recruiting and managing digital talent. Most recently she wrote an analysis of the 2016 presidential campaign “The Digital Battle” published in the book Campaigning for President 2016: Strategy and Tactics.
Suzanne’s track record of results over the past two decades has earned her many accolades including a Public Relations Society of America’s Silver Anvil for the best nonprofit public affairs campaign, College of Arts and Sciences Alumni Fellow Award from Washburn University, and Public Affairs Professional of the Year honorable mention from PR News.
Suzanne earned an M.A. from the Graduate School of Political Management at The George Washington University, and a B.A. with honors from Washburn University. She also is a graduate of the Leadership Fairfax Institute signature program. Suzanne lives in Reston, VA where she serves on several professional and community boards.
