Selby Bush is a Senior State Government Affairs Representative at The Williams Companies, one of the premier energy infrastructure companies in the United States. Selby manages state government legislative and regulatory policy in twelve states where she coordinates with legislators, regulators and the executive branch on behalf of the company. Selby works actively with the corporate PAC, business development and project management teams to ensure success for the company’s business endeavors.
She also represents the company as a member of the Board of Directors for both the Texas Pipeline Association and the Louisiana Mid-Continent Oil and Gas Association.
She previously worked for United States Senator Tom Coburn, M.D. and for the Republican National Committee’s Victory 2008 Campaign as a state Communications Director at the Republican Party of Arkansas.
She holds a Bachelors of Arts in Communications from Cameron University in Lawton, Oklahoma and a Masters Degree from The George Washington University’s Graduate School of Political Management.
Selby is an active member of The Junior League of Houston, the Kiwanis Club of Tulsa and Women in Energy. She served on the Board of Directors of the Tulsa Global Alliance from 2008-2009. Additionally, she was awarded the Arkansas Traveler Award by Governor Mike Beebe in 2008 as a recognition of her commitment to community service.
