Larry Lane is Vice President, Government Relations with Genesis HealthCare Corporation, Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. Lane has been involved as an advocate for the elderly for over 40 years specializing in healthcare policy and reimbursement.  He has helped build and manage several publicly-traded corporations (InSpeech-NovaCare, DermaSciences, Genesis HealthCare) that provide health and rehabilitation services. Larry has held both leadership and staff roles with several national trade groups (AARP, AAHA, AHCA, NASL, & LTCPA), has run a successful consulting enterprise (LFL & Associates), and worked a number of years as a Congressional staffer. He is an author and lecturer on healthcare and government policies.

Lane has undergraduate and graduate degrees (BA-67, MA-76) from the School of Public and International Affairs, George Washington University. He completed course work for a Doctorate in Public Administration from the Washington Public Affairs Center of the University of Southern California (1982). Larry also has a Certificate in Gerontology from the Andrus Center, University of Southern California (1974).

In 1999, Lane was appointed to the Board of Advisors for the Graduate School of Political Management. In addition to that academic appointment, he serves on the Advisory Board for the Wertlieb Center for Long Term Care, School of Health Services and Leadership at the George Washington University Medical Center.
