Katie Packer Beeson is a partner at Burning Glass Consulting, a first of its kind, all-female Republican consulting firm, specializing in messaging to women.

In 1988, Katie began working on political campaigns at college and in her home state of Michigan and has since managed campaigns at every level from state legislature and Governor to U.S. Senate and Presidential. Katie managed the campaigns of former U.S. Senator and Secretary of Energy Spencer Abraham, former MI Lt. Governor Dick Posthumus and managed the MI Senate Republican Campaign Committee from 1996-1999. She has worked on the Presidential campaigns of Senator Bob Dole (1996), President George W. Bush (2004) and Governor Mitt Romney (2008/2012). In 2012 she was the Deputy Campaign Manager of Governor Romney’s Presidential Campaign.

In 2008 Katie started the Workforce Fairness Institute (WFI) a 501c6 organization dedicated to grassroots education and mobilization on workplace fairness issues. WFI succeeded in mobilizing opposition to the Employee Free Choice Act (card check) and remains active today.

In 2016 she founded Our Principles PAC, a SuperPAC aimed at electing principled conservatives at the federal level and telling the truth about Donald Trump in the 2016 GOP Presidential primary.

Katie is an Adjunct Professor at George Washington University’s Graduate School for Political Management, located in Washington, DC and was a 2016 Spring Fellow at Georgetown University's Institute of Politics and Public Service.

She has been a frequent guest on CNN and Fox News and was a paid contributor for MSNBC. She is also a regular source for political opinion on NPR and in national print publications.

Katie was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan and is a graduate of Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri. She and her husband divide their time between Colorado and Washington, DC.
