David Schild serves as Manager, Public Affairs for the Raytheon Company.

Raytheon is a technology and innovation leader specializing in defense, civil government and cybersecurity solutions. With a history of innovation spanning 95 years, Raytheon provides state-of-the-art electronics, mission systems integration, C5I™ products and services, sensing, effects, and mission support for customers in more than 80 countries.

Schild previously served as Manager of RAYPAC, the Raytheon Political Action Committee. In this role he directed all solicitation and contribution efforts for RAYPAC in addition to managing political education and involvement programs for approximately 60,000 U.S. employees.

In addition to Raytheon Schild has also held government relations positions with TRW and United Technologies as well as serving as a consultant for Dunn Associates. He is an adjunct professor at GW’s Graduate School of Political Management and previously served as President of the National Association of Business Political Action Committees (NABPAC).

Schild holds a B.A. in Political Science and Criminal Justice from George Washington University and a master’s degree in Political Management also from GW. He resides northern Virginia with his wife and two children where he also serves with the Falls Church Volunteer Fire Department.
